Job Description

A Pharmacy Care Technician role is now available through Adecco Medical and Science. Pharmacy operations require timely and precise data entry to maintain workflow efficiency. This role reduces bottlenecks in prescription processing and supports pharmacists in focusing on clinical responsibilities. Position type: Temp-hire Work hours: Monday-Friday from 3:30pm-12:00am (with alternating weekends) Pay range: $18.00-19.74/hr. depending on your level of experience Job Responsibilities Data Entry Technicians are responsible for the entry and processing of medication orders via Pharmacyu2019s operating system which includes: u2022 Reorder Requests u2022 Triaging or sorting incoming medication orders for processing according to delivery deadlines u2022 Processing of all new medication orders according to delivery deadlines, including controlled medications, leave of absence orders, and customer-configured order fulfillment u2022 All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance and compliance with HIPPA guidelines, State and Federal laws and current company policies and procedures. Job Qualifications: u2022 High school diploma or GED required u2022 Must be a registered pharmacy technician in the applicable state u2022 Previous data entry experience is required u2022 Long Term Care experience preferred u2022 Knowledge of Brand/Generic medications and Sig codes required u2022 Knowledge of Framework or Docutrack a plus u2022 Moderate to advanced computer and typing skills required, including Microsoft Office applications u2022 Candidate must possess basic math skills Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled _Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
