Operations Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team in Boston, MA. In this long-term contract position (4-6 months), you will play a vital role in supporting corporate actions and class action operations while ensuring seamless processes and accurate reporting. This hybrid role offers flexibility with a schedule of three days in the office and two days remote. Responsibilities: u2022 Process corporate actions and class action filings with precision and adherence to established procedures. u2022 Collaborate with vendors and clients to confirm details, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely deliverables. u2022 Manage accounts payable and payment processing tasks, including reconciliations and receipt management. u2022 Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making. u2022 Authenticate and validate market data, securities information, and announcements for accuracy. u2022 Generate and distribute comprehensive reports to support internal and external stakeholders. u2022 Maintain organized records and documentation to ensure compliance and efficient access to information. u2022 Address client inquiries and issues promptly, providing solutions to meet their needs. u2022 Monitor and improve operational workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy. u2022 Support organizational goals by contributing to team efforts and upholding high standards of performance. Requirements u2022 Proficient communication skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members. u2022 Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records. u2022 Familiarity with payment processing, reconciliations, and accounts payable procedures. u2022 Understanding of corporate actions and class action processes, including securities and market data. u2022 Experience in preparing financial reports and cash flow forecasts. u2022 Adept at problem-solving and resolving client issues in a timely manner. u2022 Proficiency in PC skills and software applications relevant to the role. u2022 Ability to adapt to a hybrid work schedule, balancing in-office and remote responsibilities.
