Real Estate Paralegal

Description We are looking for a highly skilled Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in Billerica, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a vital role in managing the full lifecycle of commercial real estate closings. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring smooth pre-closing and post-closing processes while collaborating efficiently with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all aspects of commercial real estate closings, including pre-closing preparations and post-closing tasks. u2022 Utilize Qualia software to organize and oversee closing documents and processes. u2022 Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and third parties to ensure timely and accurate completion of transactions. u2022 Review and prepare legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions. u2022 Maintain case files and documentation using case management software. u2022 Conduct due diligence, including title searches and resolving title issues. u2022 Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines during the closing process. u2022 Track and update transaction timelines to meet critical deadlines. u2022 Provide support in resolving any closing-related discrepancies or issues. u2022 Collaborate with the team to improve closing procedures and streamline workflows. Requirements u2022 Proven experience as a paralegal with a focus on commercial real estate transactions. u2022 Proficiency in Qualia or similar closing software. u2022 Strong knowledge of case management software and document organization. u2022 Familiarity with commercial real estate laws and regulations. u2022 Demonstrated ability to manage multiple closings simultaneously with attention to detail. u2022 Excellent communication and coordination skills when working with legal teams and clients. u2022 Problem-solving skills to address title and closing-related issues. u2022 Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
