Rework CNC Machinist

Our client, a precision machining and manufacturing organization, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department, supporting production machining operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and solid problemu2011solving skills to thrive in this role. Job Title: CNC Machinist Location: Lafayette, IN Pay Range: $29.40 - $34.50 Whatu2019s the Job? + Program, set up, and operate CNC/Manual mills, lathes, and multiu2011axis machines. + Create, modify, and optimize CNC/Manual programs using Gu2011code and CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM). + Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, CAD models, MOPs, and acceptance criteria to determine machining operations. + Select proper tooling/fixturing, perform firstu2011piece and inu2011process inspections, and troubleshoot machining/programming issues. + Document setups and program revisions while maintaining a safe, clean work area and collaborating with engineers and machinists to improve workflow. Whatu2019s Needed? + 3+ years of CNC/Manual machining experience, including setup and programming. + Proficiency in Gu2011code and CAM software. + Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, feeds, and speeds. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T. + Skilled with precision measuring instruments and able to work independently or in a team across all shifts.
