Apply and share your resume with us today Primary Responsibilities + Perform mechanical and structural assembly of aerospace components per work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings. + Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and test equipment to assemble, fit, and install parts and components. + Conduct inspections of in-process and completed assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. + Prepare and apply surface coatings (e.g., primers, sealants, bonding agents) according to engineering documentation and process specifications (preferred). + Fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing setting. + May require standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing PPE. + Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet production schedules. Basic Qualifications + High school diploma/GED with 1-3 years of experience working in precision assembly and/or aerospace manufacturing assembly. + Skillful knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and assembling structures with the ability to learn the integration of large structures. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering documents, and assembly instructions. + Proficient in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges). + Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination. + Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP/shop floor systems. + Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. + Must be adept with hand tools including drills, grinders, wrenches and screwdrivers, impact rivet guns, rivet puller. + Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, as required. + Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance. _This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience.
