How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) TheManager u2013 Contracts will lead the drafting, development, negotiation, review,and approval of Delta TechOps MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) servicescontracts, including vendor supply agreements, consignment agreements, repairand overhaul agreements, license agreements, and other agreements necessary tosupport the business. The Manager will have a team of 1-2 people to supportthese efforts. This role will also incorporate responsibilities related to U.S.Government and military contracting, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS andprime contract requirements for commercial derivative military aircraft (CDMA)programs. The Manager will operate under the authority of the Delta LawDepartment, complying with defined contract standards and will collaborate withinternal and external stakeholders to resolve complex contractual issues. KeyResponsibilities Commercial& Aviation Contracts + Developand maintain standard agreement templates in collaboration with Delta LawDepartment + Supporttime-sensitive negotiations for MRO agreements and ensure timely contractdevelopment + Identifyand mitigate high-risk provisions; negotiate modifications where appropriate Government& Military Contracting + Draft,review, and negotiate subcontracts ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and primecontract obligations. + Performpre-award risk assessments on bid proposals for government and militaryprograms. + Interpretprime contract requirements and advise on subcontractor obligations underfederal regulations. + Ensureproper flow-down of prime contract terms and compliance with regulatorystandards. Compliance& Risk Management + Providelegal and contractual guidance to internal teams to minimize exposure + Maintaincomprehensive records of negotiated positions and compliance actions + Maintainelectronic database of all contracts in Salesforce, Ariba and other enterprisetools What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Bacheloru2019sdegree in a relevant field required + 4u20137years of contracts-related experience, preferably in aviation industry + Abilityto communicate with executives and stakeholders on contract status andnegotiations + Abilityto synthesize and summarize complex issues for escalation to executiveleadership + Exceptionalanalytical, negotiation, and communication skills + Proficientin MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce; experience with SAP Ariba preferred + DemonstratesDeltau2019s core values of integrity, respect, and perseverance + Mustbe performing satisfactorily in current position + Consistentlyprioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. + Embracesdiverse people, thinking, and styles. + Possessesa high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. + Isat least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
