Comebe a part of our amazing mission If you have experience manages andcoordinates payor contracting, enrollment, and credentialing functionsacross Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors, this is a fantasticopportunity to join the global leader in implantable hearing devicesThis role offers a hybrid or remote work environment dependent on placeof residence.The Manager, Payor Relations manages and coordinates payor contracting,enrollment, and credentialing functions across Medicare, Medicaid, andcommercial payors. This role ensures policies and processes supportorganizational strategy, compliance, and patient access. The managerserves as the primary point of escalation for payor-related issues,oversees operational performance, and leverages data insights tooptimize workflows. Additionally, this position leads cross-functionalcollaboration with reimbursement, finance, operations, and complianceteams to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee payor contracting, enrollment, and credentialing activities to support patient access and business objectives.- Implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory and payor requirements.- Serve as escalation point for complex payor-related issues, providing resolution and guidance to supervisors and staff.- Analyze operational and performance data to identify trends, monitor outcomes, and present findings to leadership to inform strategic decisions.- Collaborate with reimbursement, finance, operations, and compliance teams to align payor activities with organizational goals.- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across payor functions.- Develop and maintain relationships with payors to support contracting and enrollment objectives.- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for supervisors and staff to promote operational excellence and professional growth.Key RequirementsTo add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet anddemonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in yourapplication and at interview:- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field OR equivalent work experience- 5+ years of experience in payor contracting, payor relations, or managed care within the healthcare industry.- 2+ years of direct people management experience.- Demonstrated success negotiating and managing contracts with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors.- Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, benefit structures, credentialing, and compliance requirements.- Experience with payor enrollment and credentialing processes.- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business technology platforms.Total RewardsIn addition to the opportunity to develop your knowledge and growprofessionally, we offer competitive wages and benefits.- Pay Range in the United States: $126,000 - $135,000 based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 15% of base salary.
