Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour Duties: + Assist with tasks related to quality of finished products, raw ingredients and packaging materials. + Collect measurements, test and report results on various components to ensure they fall within specification ranges. + Ensure that sandwiches are being built to specification. + Conduct in line audits/product assessments for specification compliance on food products. + Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues, and document corrective actions. + Ensure GMPs are being followed. + Assess facility for sanitary compliance. + Collect weights and measurements of finished good products. + Ensure package integrity and accuracy. + Other duties as assigned. . Position Requirements: + Ability to operate standard lab equipment. + Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. + Be detailed and organized. + Problem solving skills. + Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), + Knowledge of Food Safety fundamentals is desirable. + The ability to read and understand specifications and other technical documents. + Strong attention to detail; data and sample collection, accuracy in paperwork. + Ability to use a tablet/iPad.
