How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Working in a team environment, Simulator Support co-ops design and perform hardware and software modifications to Delta's fleet of flight training devices/simulators, ensuring training devices meet FAA requirements, and pilot training needs. Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks): + Reports to Deltau2019s manager of simulator engineering. + Integrates software modifications into flight training devices/simulators in order to maintain commonality with Deltau2019s fleet of aircraft. + Designs hardware modifications of the training devices per simulator and aircraft manufacturersu2019 service bulletins. + Assist with acceptance testing of new flight training devices/simulators, and with the annual FAA requalification of the devices. + Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce. + This position requires you to work for 3 alternating semesters. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters. + Students must be able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA in line with the below schedule: + Fall 2026 - 1st rotation + Summer 2027 - 2nd rotation + Spring 2028 - 3rd rotation + Working towards a bacheloru2019s degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline. + Experience with software editing, code debugging, and revision control using various computer platforms and operating systems. + Strong technical, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills, and be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. + Must perform with a high level of accuracy. + Excellent verbal and written skills. + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. + Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
