Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will focus on maintaining accurate financial records and providing critical insights to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting functions and a proactive approach to streamlining processes and ensuring compliance. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform monthly closing activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and reviewing financial reports. u2022 Analyze accounting data to deliver actionable insights to management at both theater and corporate levels. u2022 Provide support to theater and corporate personnel regarding inquiries on cost center expenses. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues in the Finance team to share information on new activities, trends, and unusual fluctuations in ledger entries. u2022 Participate in initiatives aimed at improving and streamlining accounting processes. u2022 Demonstrate adaptability in learning and utilizing new systems and tools to enhance efficiency. Requirements u2022 Proven experience handling month-end close processes and general ledger activities. u2022 Expertise in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts, including balance sheets and bank statements. u2022 Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights. u2022 Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple teams across organizational levels. u2022 Proficiency in utilizing accounting software and tools to streamline workflows. u2022 Commitment to process improvement and delivering accurate financial results.
