Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist Location: North Chesterfield, VA Pay: 30-35/hr. DOE Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM The Opportunity Adecco is looking for a detail-driven, dependable Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to join our Accounting team in Richmond. This role plays a key part in keeping cash flow strong, financial records accurate, and client relationships positive as the company continues to grow. What Youu2019ll Do Youu2019ll manage the full accounts receivable lifecycle while serving as a key partner in revenue operations. + Generate and distribute client invoices accurately and on time + Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up on overdue accounts + Maintain detailed and up-to-date collection notes in the CRM system + Reconcile customer accounts and ensure payments are correctly posted + Build and maintain professional client relationships to support effective collections + Partner with Sales and Sales Support to resolve billing and order-related issues + Prepare and maintain AR aging reports , including status updates and collection activity + Support monthly close activities and financial reporting + Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes + Assist with audit requests and internal reviews as needed What You Bring Weu2019re looking for someone who combines accounting knowledge with strong communication and follow-through. Experience & Skills: + 3u20135 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar accounting role + Background supporting customer billing, order processing, and the order-to-cash cycle + Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central + Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems + Solid understanding of AR processes, collections practices, and basic accounting principles + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization + Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and within a team + Customer-focused mindset with the professionalism to handle sensitive collection conversations Why This Role Matters Your work directly supports financial health, operational efficiency, and strong client partnerships.
