University of Rochester: Office of the Provost: University of Rochester Medical Center: School of Medicine and Dentistry: Medicine: Medicine: Hospital Medicine Salary Range or Pay Grade $180,000 - $306,173 a year Description The Department of Medicine, Hospital Medicine Division is seeking a Hospitalist. Hospitalist responsibilities may include, but are not limited to a combination of patient care, teaching, quality improvement, and/or community service activities. Will provide care to hospitalized patients on the Hospital Medicine Service and Pediatric Hospital Medicine Service as the attending of record, and to patients on other services as a consultant. Teaching of medical students and residents is expected in the School of Medicine and Dentistry. Research activities will enhance your academic career and the academic and clinical excellence of our hospital and Department of Medicine and Pediatrics. Qualifications M.D. degree or equivalent Must obtain a NY Medical License prior to start date Eligible for a faculty appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry Must meet all credentialing requirements Eligible for Board Certification in Internal Medicine Post offer drug screen and health assessment required Compliance with University and New York State health requirements Application Instructions If you have an interfolio account, please sign in to apply to this position.
