Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: u00b7 Provides teaching, supervision and evaluation of student clinical learning experiences. u00b7 Provides individual advisement and guidance for intellectual and professional development of students. u00b7 Collaborates with faculty to provide optimum learning opportunities for students. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: u00b7 Master's of Science in Nursing or u00b7 Bacheloru2019 of Science of Nursing and; u2022 Minimum of 3 yearsu2019 consecutive experience in a specific field of nursing as needed by Mercy College at the time of hire. u00b7 Two yearsu2019 experience in a clinical environment. u00b7 Current and valid Iowa RN licensure. u00b7 Demonstrated ability in managing, leading or training others. u00b7 Demonstrated ability to utilize appropriate, varied and innovative classroom/clinical/field teaching strategies. u00b7 Must commit to working 16 hours/week per academic year.
