JOB REQUIREMENTS: Aircraft Maintenance Technician III A&P- MultipleShiftsin GAC Appleton Unique Skills: Candidate must be outgoing, have astrong work ethic and able to work in a team environment. Education andExperience Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 3 yearsaviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/ormechanical). A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required. ValidDriver's License required. Position Purpose: Perform various technicalfunctions of aircraft maintenance, repair, replacement, and modificationof key aircraft components to ensure proper operation. Perform aircraftmaintenance and perform troubleshooting and repair duties requiringaccuracy and skill. Job Description Principle Duties andResponsibilities: Essential Functions: Perform required. maintenance andnecessary servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems . Repair,maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional componentsof the aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear,electrical components, and control systems . Coordinate with inspectionto ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentationrequirements . Properly complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers,and other paperwork in a timely manner . Ensure that all workaccomplished meets quality standards and specifications . Properlyidentify (tag) customer property and equipment. Store aircraftcomponents and other customer property securely and safely . Followstandard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground supportequipment . Operate and oversee use of special support equipment used inremoval and installations of major components . Coordinate with otherdepartments to arrange for the overhaul or repair of customer propertyas needed . Additional Functions: Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to keepshops, hangars, and aircraft work areas clean . Properly use andmaintain company-provided tools and equipment . Coordinate movement ofaircraft, as required. . Maintain advanced knowledge of FAA regulations,process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, andcompany policies and procedures . Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements: Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenanceprocedures for various aircraft models and systems. Advanced knowledgeof pertinent technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs,Service Bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, ADS,etc.). Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the Englishlanguage. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, andunderstand the English language.
