Job Title: Wood Product Finisher / Senior Wood Product Finisher Location: Grand Rapids, MI Pay Range: Based on Experience Shift: To be determined What's the Job? + Apply a wide range of woodu2011finishing techniques including bleaching, hand staining, sealing, glazing, shading, rubbing, topcoating, and waxing. + Perform both spray and handu2011applied finishing to achieve consistent color, texture, and quality. + Follow detailed finish standards and engineering drawings to ensure precision and consistency. + Maintain equipment, workspace cleanliness, and adhere to safety practices to promote a safe working environment. + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in finishing processes and quality standards. What's Needed? + 3u201310+ years of professional woodu2011finishing experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship required. + Strong proficiency with spray stain, wipe stain, glaze, lacquer, shading, and topcoat applications. + Ability to read and interpret written specifications and engineering drawings accurately. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment. + High school diploma or equivalent, with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
