With competitive pay up to $35/hour, a stable second-shift schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package, this position offers long-term career growth with a company that values technical excellence and leadership.Job title: Lead Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Akron, OHShift: 2 ^nd^ (Tuesday through Saturday 2 pm to 10:15 pm {Saturdays are a must})Salary: up to $35 an hour based on experienceDIRECT HIRE OpportunityJob duties- Work with 480 vac 3-phase and lower voltages.- Reworking and installation of electrical wiring for equipment, per NEC guidelines.- Troubleshoot and replace faulty electrical components such as relays, fuses, power supplies, switches, motors and position sensing devices, machinery controls, etc.- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product, process and quality system- Identify equipment concerns relating to the product, process and quality system- Troubleshoot industrial machinery, PLC's, and drives- Basic welding and fabrication- Performs routine preventative maintenance and ensures that machines continue to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
