JOB REQUIREMENTS: Line Service Mechanic Iin GAC Appleton Unique Skills:must be a self starter and think on your feet. Position Purpose:Assists with the movement of aircraft on, to and from the ramp andwithin the hangars, in support of customers, Service Center Maintenanceand Final Phase. Support hangar operations by providing support ofcustomer and visiting aircraft as required. Job Description PrincipleDuties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Meet arrivingaircraft, direct aircraft to a parking location, and greet and assistcustomers in locating appropriate company personnel for customercontact. . Respond to all service needs of aircraft and flight crew.With moderate supervision perform duties related to the marshaling,fueling, defueling of aircraft and fuel trucks. Assist with the movementof aircraft on, to, and from the ramp and within the hangars . Assist inthe inspection and maintenance of ground support equipment, the fuelfarm and fuel trucks, according to established guidelines, to ensuresafe and efficient operating conditions. . Assist with security ofpremises. Assist with ramp operations such as towing, fueling,wing-walking, directing and parking of aircraft, as necessary . Performbasic fuel quality control testing of fuel. Identify possibleoperational improvements and communicate them to management. AdditionalFunctions: Assist with hazardous waste disposal by delivering all hazmatgenerated to the waste treatment area. . Comply with the cleaning andmaintaining of 5S for the ramp areas. . Comply with all safety rules andprocedures. .
