Description: You will be the Systems Engineer Sr - Skunk Works for the Automated Test Team which is responsible for the integration and test of software products in a laboratory environment. What You Will Be Doing As the Systems Engineer Sr - Skunk Works you will be responsible for delivering endu2011tou2011end automated test solutions that validate aviationu2011system software, from hardwareu2011inu2011theu2011loop simulations to systemu2011level health diagnostics. Your responsibilities will include: + Developing and maintaining automated testing infrastructure and software test harnesses using RedHatLinux, Ansible, Cucumber, and GitLab. + Integrating COTS and Lockheedu2011Martin automation tools into the test environment and ensuring they operate on airu2011gapped (classified) networks. + Collaborating with customers and internal decisionu2011makers to translate requirements into test automation strategies. + Providing technical leadership to multidisciplinary engineers, guiding rapid implementation of test solutions. + Continuously acquiring new technical skills and applying them to emerging challenges. Further Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secretclearance. This position can be based in Fort Worth, TX or Marietta, GA Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelors or above degree in engineering/technical discipline or 7+ years of relevant/related experience u2022 Experience with Linux operating systems (Red Hat preferred) Desired Skills: u2022 Experience with Git Software Configuration Management u2022 Experience with container orchestration technologies u2022 Experience with infrastructure as code approaches (Ansible preferred) u2022 Experience with Helm and Kubernetes u2022 Experience with the automation of software-based systems u2022 Experience with software languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc. u2022 Experience with software test tools that deal with application behavior, such as Cucumber u2022 technologies such as Docker, Podman, containerd, etc. u2022 Familiarity with flight simulation technologies and experimentation u2022 Familiarity with Gitlab and Atlassian products u2022 Familiarity with the concepts of DevSecOps u2022 Familiarity with aircraft Mission Systems (RADAR, IR Tracking, ect.) and with the Operational Use of a Modern Tactical Airborne Platform u2022 Familiarity with Agile SW Development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) u2022 Familiarity with cloud computing u2022 Current Security+ Certification u2022 Active Top Secret Clearance w/ last completed investigation in last 5 years u2022 Willingness for occasional travel Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
