Equipment Technician

Equipment Technician Overview We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team and keep our fleet and customer equipment running at peak performance. In this role, you will take ownership of inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of mechanical and electrical systems. From generators and compressors to pumps and diesel-powered machinery, you will ensure every unit is safe, reliable, and ready for operation. This position also supports equipment logistics and contributes to a clean, efficient workspace. What Youu2019ll Do + Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on customer and company-owned equipment. + Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues using industry tools and techniques. + Complete complex repairs on generators, compressors, pumps, HVAC systems, diesel engines, and small engines. + Accurately record maintenance activities, repair details, and equipment status in service logs. + Assist with equipment movement, including delivery, onsite setup, and returning units to inventory. + Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient shop and work environment. What You Bring + Strong experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment. + Hands-on experience with small engine systems and diesel-powered machinery. + Proven ability to service and repair generators. + Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with HVAC and pump systems is a plus. + Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks effectively. Preferred Experience + Prior work in diesel maintenance or industrial equipment service. + Training or certifications related to mechanical repair, electrical systems, or generator maintenance.
