All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: + Benefits from Day One: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance + Paid Time Off from Day One + 403-B Retirement Plan + 4 Weeks 100% Paid Parental Leave + Career Development + Whole Person Well-being Resources + Mental Health Resources and Support + Pet Benefits Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 601 E ROLLINS ST City: ORLANDO State: Florida Postal Code: 32803 Job Description: + Accurately distributes organs and/or specimens to transplant centers, labs and/or airports. + Uploads pulsatile preservation data to the national organ sharing IT platform to facilitate timely communication with potential accepting centers. + Ensures all aspects of the organ recovery process are performed to optimal levels in accordance with regulatory policies, and organizational procedures. + Ensures stewardship of all donated organs and provides access to transplant programs by performing all perfusion, packaging, labeling and regulatory documentation in an expedited manner. + Independently performs all aspects of kidney pulsatile preservation including cannulation, machine set-up and parameter adjustments, monitoring, trouble shooting and reporting requirements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: u2022 Strong demonstrated operating room knowledge and skill. [Required] u2022 Good oral, written, and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and organizational skills. [Required] u2022 Mastery of sterile and aseptic techniques in the operating room. [Required] u2022 Ability to multitask with attention to detail. [Required] u2022 Excellent critical thinking skills and independent judgment. [Required] u2022 The ability to make time-critical decisions. [Required] u2022 Ability to First Assist. [Preferred] u2022 Heart, lung, liver, kidney perfusion. [Preferred] u2022 Understanding of OPTN standards for organ packaging and labeling. [Preferred] u2022 Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care which addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety age-appropriate needs of the patient populations served within the department.
