This is an excellent training opportunity for new graduates orARRT-certified professionals seeking a long-term career inInterventional Radiology (IR). We will help you obtain your ARRT-VIcertification. Join one of Froedtert's most dynamic teams FTE: 1.00Shift: Shift 1 Rotational shifts with on call coverage required withrotational weekends and holidays. Job Summary: Assists physicians withperformance of interventional radiographic and related procedures fordiagnostic interpretation and/or therapeutic interventions. Responsiblefor preparation, documentation of inventory of materials, supplies andcoding used for interventional radiology services. EXPERIENCEDESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1 year of experience in an IR or Cath Labsetting or completion of the FMLH IR Internship is preferred. Additionaltechnical courses and experience with progressive responsibility andexperience in IR/NIR and or Cath Lab is preferred. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: Completion of (minimum) a 2-year, approved, program inRadiologic Technology is required. TRAINING DESCRIPTION: In-depthknowledge of the operation of interventional radiographic and relateddiagnostic and therapeutic equipment/supplies. SPECIAL SKILLSDESCRIPTION: Strong mainframe and PC skills. Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills. Good organizational skills. Strong analyticalskills. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered and current State ofWisconsin license as a Radiographer required. Advanced certificationthrough ARRT in ARRT-CI or ARRT-CV or ARRT-VI is required within 12months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support forthe Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is requiredwithin three months of hire.
