TheFroedtert Family Medicine practice is very collegial, collaborative, andconsultative with exceptional support staff. The Froedtert & the MedicalCollege of Wisconsin regional health network is a partnership betweenFroedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin supporting ashared mission of patient care, innovation, medical research, andeducation. Our health network operates eastern Wisconsin's onlyacademic medical center and adult Level I Trauma center engaged inthousands of clinical trials and studies. For Nurse Practitioners: A minimum of 2 years ofclinical experience is preferred. A master's degree in nursing isrequired. Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitionerprogram is required. Requires current state of Wisconsin RegisteredNurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participatingstate in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). Certification as an AdvancedPractice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursingis required. Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center(ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is required.American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the HealthcareProvider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire.Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration arerequired or must be eligible to obtain. For Physician Assistant:Bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies is required. CurrentState certification as a PA; current DEA. American Heart Association(AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or anAHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire.
