JOB REQUIREMENTS: Location: US:WI:OAK CREEK at our CP-DREXEL TOWN SQHLTH CENTER facility. This job is ON - SITE. Job Summary:Performs high quality diagnostic sonographic examinations and assistsphysicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Provides guidanceand instruction for students, residents, and other technologists asneeded. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Department related sonography experienceis preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Graduate of a program accredited byan agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation(CHEA), United States Department of Education (USDOE) or CanadianMedical Association (CMA), that specifically conducts programmaticaccreditation for diagnostic medical sonography/diagnostic cardiacsonography/vascular technology. Currently the only organizations thatoffer programmatic accreditation under the aforementioned associationsare the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs(CAAHEP) and the Canadian Medical Association (CMA). Completion of ARRTapproved program is required for incumbents that also function as aRadiologic Technologist. Staff hired into this role prior to 1/1/21 mayhave associate degree and 2 years of ultrasound experience in lieu ofcompletion of the ultrasound technology program. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the HealthcareProvider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 daysof hire. ARDMS certified in breast ultrasound and physics (BR) orcertified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)with advanced certification through ARRT in Breast Sonography (BS) isrequired within 12 months of hire for ARRT and 9 months for ARDMS.
