You will play a crucial role in defining the product vision, strategy and roadmap, working closely with the product managers and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to solving complex real-world problems in the transportation sector. Among other responsibilities, you will lead a technical team to build robust, complex infrastructure to reliably and efficiently deliver high-quality data, especially our mapping solutions.The Senior Product Owner will report to the Product Owner, Manager and work in close collaboration with the Product Manager.Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for web application products, aligning with overall company objectives. Translate customer needs into clear and actionable technical requirements for the Engineering team Manage product development, working collaboratively with the Engineering and Design teamst Data Science/Data Engineering team to ensure consistent, timely delivery of high-quality web application products. Plan and manage engineering sprints, using Agile methodologies, including maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog Identify dependencies, blockers, and product risks. Act as a primary point of contact between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Work closely with customer-facing teams, including marketing, sales, and support, to facilitate product communication and ensure customer satisfaction. 3+ years of experience in a product management, technical product management/product ownership, or technical program/project management role B.S. (Bachelor of Sciences) or equivalent in an engineering or technical field. Strong interest in working with geospatial and mapping data Exceptional project management skills and ability to align multiple stakeholders Proven ability to translate ambiguous customer needs to technical requirements Excellent attention to detail Demonstrated clear and proactive communication, especially ability to explain complex technical concepts to less technical audiences Proven ability working with UX/UI teams to deliver user-centric product experiences Ability to balance multiple projects with competing demands in a fast-paced environment Experience building products with APIs and third-party integrationsJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
