Occupational Therapist Location: Casa Grande _, Arizona_ Service Areas: Hybrid- _Clinic & Home Health_ Make an impact every day Advance Therapy Solutions is looking for a skilled and passionate occupational therapist (OT) with experience in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) evaluations who enjoys working with children and families to join our interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting individuals with complex communication needs and can assess, recommend, and implement AAC solutions that enhance functional communication and quality of life. Key Responsibilities: + Assess individuals and develop effective treatment plans. + Provide therapy, update treatment plans, and communicate patient needs to the staff. + Manage caseloads, re-evaluate progress, and update programs as needed. + Conduct home evaluations and set up home exercise programs. + Maintain documentation, including reports and schedules. + Collaborate with medical professionals, staff, families, and community resources. + Conduct AAC evaluations and recommend appropriate communication devices. + Collaborate with SLPs, caregivers, and educators to implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) solutions. + Train clients, families, and staff on the use of AAC systems. + Stay updated on AAC technology, best practices, and funding sources. + Assist with AAC funding and insurance processes. + Provide follow-up support for the implementation of AAC. Qualifications: + Masteru2019s Degree in Occupational Therapy and at least one year of experience in human services. + Preferred one year of experience in pediatrics and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) or assistive technology evaluations. + Must be a licensed occupational therapist (OT) or occupational therapist assistant (OTA) in the state and a member in good standing with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). + A current driveru2019s license, car registration, and auto insurance are required. + Effective communication skills. + Reliable, responsible attitude, with a compassionate approach.
