Description: We are _Lockheed Martin_ Lockheed Martin Flight Operations is looking for an F-16 Test Pilot to join a dynamic flight operations team that supports worldwide fighter aircraft test and production. We want a person who is willing to provide leadership, apply technical acumen, and make the team better. What You Will Be Doing You will be assigned to the F-16 Block 70 production facility located in Greenville, SC, but you will also have the opportunity to support F-16 flight test worldwide. Your responsibilities will include: u2022 Fly Acceptance Check Flights (ACFs) on new Block 70 production aircraft. u2022 Fly other missions such as experimental, developmental, engineering flight test, test support, and customer demonstration flights and others as assigned. Flight test may occur at Greenville, Ft Worth, or many different international locations. u2022 Be a subject matter expert on all aspects of the F-16. u2022 Be a subject matter expert for flight test to include flight test planning, run card development, test execution and reporting. u2022 Participate in Pilot Vehicle Interface (PVI) development, requirements development, and market assist. u2022 Coordinate with the Production Operations team, Program Office, Government Flight Representative, Flight Safety, chase aircraft, and Base Operations personnel for all matters required to schedule and conduct ground checks/tests, taxi events, and flights. u2022 Serve as Supervisor of Flying (SOF) for other company pilotsu2019 activities. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Suitable FAA Commercial Pilot (SE Land, Instrument Airplane) or Airline Transport Pilot certificate. u2022 Current FAA Class I or II medical certificate. u2022 1,000 hours first-pilot time in a tactical aircraft. u2022 F-16 flying experience in excess of 100 hours. u2022 Graduate of a military or recognized Test Pilot School (TPS). u2022 SECRET or higher security clearance. u2022 Must be willing to travel and have a valid U.S. passport. Desired Skills: u2022 Familiarity with F-16 contractor program requirements u2022 Extensive knowledge of F-16 systems for various blocks and models of aircraft u2022 F-16 Functional Check Flight Pilot u2022 Outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent leadership traits, strong oral and written communication abilities, solid ability to organize, and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction u2022 Comfortable working with Comms and PR in front of a camera. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
