Adecco is immediately hiring a Counter Sales & Service Rep for one of the largest privately-owned HVAC equipment distributors in the country. The Counter Sales Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to clients at the sales counter. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, processing orders, managing inventory, and ensuring timely and accurate transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, HVAC product knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Pay is $18-20/hr. DOE Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Key Responsibilities: + Greet and assist customers at the sales counter, providing product information and recommendations. + Process customer orders accurately, including returns and exchanges, in compliance with company policies. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC products, parts, and industry trends to support customer needs. + Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. + Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. + Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed. + Maintain a clean and organized counter area and adhere to safety standards. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC experience or technical training preferred. + Previous experience in counter sales, customer service, or related field. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude. + Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. + Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems. _The company conducts a background check and a physical/drug screening upon permanent hire._ Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
