What Youu2019ll Do This role leads a territory consisting of strategic accounts, and the Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving Teradatau2019s growth by proactively developing and expanding executive-level relationships. You will establish strong partnerships, build consensus across diverse stakeholders, and help clients navigate rapid industry and technological change. To be successful, youu2019ll bring executive presence, knowledge across multiple Industries, and the ability to engage in both business and technical conversations at multiple levels of an organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the buyer journey and possess the ability to lead a highly matrixed team to drive complex, end-to-end sales to closure. This person is a self-starter with a growth mindset, willing to think outside-the-box to collectively solution for clientsu2019 complex needs. Key Areas of Responsibility + Build alignment with clients around Teradatau2019s modern cloud and AI vision, enabling financial services organizations to achieve their business objectives. + Develop, set, and execute account strategies to drive overall territory growth and deepen client engagement. + Serve as the u201cface of Teradatau201d to the customer, and the u201cvoice of the customeru201d within Teradata. + Lead account planning, pipeline development, sales process management, and revenue generation for assigned accounts. + Demonstrate a strong understanding of business priorities, and data and analytics ecosystems to effectively position Teradatau2019s solutions and articulate ROI. + Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision makers and key influencers within client organizations. + Coordinate Teradatau2019s engagement across multiple functions, leveraging solution specialists and partner resources when necessary. Who Youu2019ll Work With Youu2019ll collaborate closely across Teradatau2019s Go-To-Market and partner ecosystemu2014including System Integrators (SI), Cloud Service Providers (CSP), and Independent Software Vendors (ISV)u2014to accelerate opportunities and deliver outcomes for clients. What Makes You a Qualified Candidate + Bacheloru2019s Degree (or equivalent experience). + Masteru2019s degree preferred. + Proven track record of growing revenue within existing accounts and successfully expanding into new lines of business. + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. + Experience managing senior executive relationships (Sr. Director, VP, and C-level) in the financial services industry. What Youu2019ll Bring + Strong awareness of AI, data, and analytics trends, and how they shape financial services customer needs. + Broad experience across a number of Industries and the ability to articulate Teradatau2019s ability to solve business problems and drive ROI. + Experience positioning and selling complex analytic or technology solutions. + Familiarity with sales tools, processes, and CRM platforms. + Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and documents for client stakeholders. This position is working in a virtual office environment, including home office & customer site. A combination of independent work and team collaboration will be required. Travel up to 50% is also expected. Dallas area is preferred. Pay Rate: 257400.0000 - 321800.0000 - 386200.0000 On-Target Earnings Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on geographic location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and candidate experience. Sales roles will be eligible for commission payments tied to quota achievement. All other permanent roles will be eligible for one of our annual incentive plans, which are based on company financial attainment and individual performance.
