Position Summaryu00a0Seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to support our Health & Welfare Fund. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of excellent customer service abilities and high attention to detail. Responsible for the day-to-day administration and oversight of the organization's benefit programs (Medical, RX, Dental & Vision). Ensures effective operations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of benefit plans. Partners with leadership to analyze, recommend, and implement benefit strategies that support organizational goals, cost containment, and employee attraction and retention.u00a0Key Responsibilitiesu00a0- Manage administration of benefit programs including medical, dental, pharmacy, vision, life, STD & Death Benefit.- Serve as subject matter expert; advise management and employees on benefit policies and plan provisions.- Analyze benefit plan performance, costs, market competitiveness, and trends; recommend improvements and plan design changes.- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, IRS, DOL).- Coordinate audits, Form 5500 filings, plan documents, SPDs, SARs, and other required disclosures.- Partner with leadership on benefit strategy, vendor management, and resolution of complex carrier and participant issues.- Lead and support annual Open Enrollment, including project planning, communications, system testing, and employee education.- Oversee vendor, carrier, consultant, and auditor relationships; monitor performance and contractual obligations.- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices; ensure accurate and timely payments and data transmission to payroll and third parties.- Develop and maintain benefit reports, analytics, and costing models to support decision-making.- Evaluate workflows and systems; implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.- Provide backup support for Executive Directors and other leadership and perform other related duties as assigned.u00a0Qualificationsu00a0- Bachelor's degree required or 5--7 years of equivalent benefits administration experience.- Strong knowledge of health and welfare benefit plans, compliance, and vendor management.- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively- Strong confidentiality practices.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0We office a generous employee benefits package that includes:- Medical, Dental, RX, and Vision- Annuity & Defined Pension Plans- Vacation, Sick, Personal days and Holidaysu00a0Salary Range (Philadelphia, PA)$85,000 -- $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.u00a0How to ApplyPlease send your resume to:
