MEP Project Manager

As a MEP Project Manager, you are responsible for leadingthe mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection scope onassigned projects from preconstruction through closeout. This rolepartners closely with project managers, superintendents, estimators,designers, and trade partners to ensure MEP systems are coordinated,high quality, and delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. KeyResponsibilities: Support development of MEP bid strategies, bidpackages, and subcontractor selection Lead MEP constructability reviewsand value engineering efforts Partner with design teams to manageexpectations, schedules, and owner decisions Lead and manage MEP scopethrough bidding, preconstruction, construction, and closeout Collaboratewith project teams and Virtual Construction to optimize coordination andconstructability Maintain accurate MEP schedules and sequencing asprojects progress Conduct jobsite walks to verify installation quality,safety, and schedule adherence Coordinate owner-furnished equipmentrequirements and system connections Lead MEP closeout activitiesincluding commissioning, startup, and occupancy documentation FacilitateMEP subcontractor meetings and communicate clearly with all stakeholdersSupport superintendents with short-term scheduling and three-weeklookaheads Lead MEP quality processes using checklists, BIMcoordination, and first-install reviews Coordinate with inspectors andregulatory agencies Promote a culture of safety, respect, andaccountability on the jobsite Support MEP buyout strategies, allowancemanagement, and subcontractor negotiations Assist with change orderreview and negotiation Identify and proactively manage MEP-related risksMentor and support project team members as needed Build and maintainstrong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, andcolleagues Participate in business development efforts includingproposals and interviews Qualifications: Strong knowledge of mechanical,electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems Excellentcommunication, organization, and leadership skills Ability to managemultiple...
