Fulfillment Clerk

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary The Fulfillment Clerk is responsible forcoordinating the incoming and outgoing shipment of material. Preparespaperwork and material for shipment and reviews paperwork of incomingmaterial. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Coordinates and schedulesall outbound loads and coordinates with sales and production. Determinesproper loading order and placement of product. Verifies shippingdocuments and records any discrepancies. Set up all loads to be shippedvia common carrier with outside freight companies. Coordinates routingof orders and dispatches carrier with orders and appropriate deliveryinstructions consistent with customer receiving times. Ensures allinternal/external paperwork meets all Universal as well as DOTregulations and procedures. Documents any shortage on orders,investigates reasons for occurrence and informs sales and admin of theshortage. Takes and acts upon all calls for tracing and/or expeditingorders. Maintains proper documentation and records of incoming andoutgoing shipments. May assist with loading and unloading material fromtrucks or carts. Prepares various reports and correspondence asrequired. Performs other duties as required. Qualifications Minimum highschool diploma/GED Minimum 6 months of experience in shipping andreceiving or related areas. Working knowledge of standard DOT concepts,regulations, practices and procedures. Working knowledge of properloading techniques, weight limitations, and company procedures. Workingknowledge of Excel, word and Outlook. Basic knowledge of lumber math,lumber grades and species. Successful completion of forklift driverlicensing process.
