JOB REQUIREMENTS: - As a HR Director your goal is to participate in thedevelopment of strategies and deliver human resources strategies andsolutions for a business unit's corporate functions. You'll act as atrusted advisor to all levels of management on day-to-day HR matters andimplement location specific programs to support HR operations. This rolewill support our Power, Energy Solutions and Electrification businessglobally. #LI-MD1 #LI-Onsite You will do this by: Partnering withleaders in the development of workforce solutions that drive alignmentwith the broader location and/or region's goals. Leading the executionof human resources initiatives for multiple locations and/or functions,regionally or globally Partnering with facility HR teams and HR SharedServices to ensure resolution of employee concerns and problems withgoal of future problem prevention consistent with government laws andregulations, collective bargaining agreements, human resources policiesand procedures Overseeing and/or completing generalist duties to adviseLeaders on both strategic and tactical plans which may include:conducting internal investigations, facilitating workforce reductionsand/or terminations and grievance administration; participating incontract negotiations with appropriate HR/Leadership of the locationsand/or regions Delivering written communications and presentations tocommunicate concepts related to one or more functional HR areas fordiverse audiences of managers and employees; developing and conductingtraining and presentations Leading and managing workforce planning,recruitment, onboarding and training efforts for leaders, managerssalaried (exempt and nonexempt) and production/hourly, employees,students and temporary employees Driving effective performancemanagement by assisting employees and managers with performancemanagement processes including leading calibration, merit planning andother incentive programs Collaborating within Human Resources todevelop, document and recommend continuous improvement of HR processes,procedures or programs to deliver innovative solutions Directing thework of groups of employees (leads through managers) and performing fullrange of managerial responsibilities which may include but not belimited to: recruitment, coaching and developing employees; planning,assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; departmentbudget The above...
