As our Procurement Manager-Direct Materials for NorthAmerica, you will lead a dynamic team and drive sourcing strategies thatensure cost competitiveness, quality, and sustainability across directmaterial categories. Your team will play a critical role in partneringwith Regional Category Managers and Global Category Leads, operatingeffectively within a global matrix organization to deliver strategicprocurement objectives. This is your opportunity to shape procurementexcellence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep ouroperations running smoothly. In this role you'll make an impact by:Lead and develop a team of 6 people Buyers and Associate CategoryManagers, fostering growth and high performance. Drive strategicsourcing initiatives to deliver cost savings, quality improvements, andsustainability goals. Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, andQuality teams to resolve raw material shortages and maintain supplycontinuity. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within DirectProcurement by driving process efficiency, implementing best practices,and ensuring operational excellence. Monitor and communicate RawMaterial forecast data from multiple sources. Ensure appropriate Qualitystandards are in place for new & existing raw materials. Implementbest-in-class procurement tools and processes to optimize efficiency andcompliance. Resolve raw material shortages or supplier quality/performance issues and develop supplier partnerships. Formulate dualProcurement Strategies to address risk and single source raw materials.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and globalcategory managers to ensure strategic alignment. Represent RegionalDirect Procurement in selected meetings and events. To succeed you musthold: BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field requiredwith MS or MBA preferred. 2+ years of people development and leadershipexperience 8-10 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with afocus on direct materials. Proven leadership experience managing teamsand driving strategic initiatives. Strong negotiation, analytical, andstakeholder management skills.
