Apply now to join our team at HellermannTyton What YouWill Do: The Toolmaker/Moldmaker is responsible for working with thelead mold maker to build new tooling per CAD or detailed prints,evaluate, maintain, and repair existing molds and production tooling.Must be able to build new tooling and components with minimumsupervision Identify and communicate any possible tooling problems tothe lead mold maker or supervisor Must be able to work well with leadmold makers and train mold maintenance technicians and apprentices Mustbe able to operate all tool room equipment Must be able to perform moldmaintenance and in-press mold changes Must be willing to work overtimebased on production needs Other Functions Work with QA to identifyquality concerns Maintain a clean and safe work area Performs othertasks as assigned Required Personal Protective Equipment: safety shoesare to be worn at all times during your scheduled work hours. What You Bring(Qualifications): 3+ years ofplastic injection molding building experience or successful completionof an apprenticeship program. Journeyman Tool & Die Makercertification/degree is preferred. High School diploma or equivalentrequired Knowledgeable in current mold-building techniques. Thisindividual should have solid manufacturing concepts in plastic injectionmold building Ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineeringdesigns and computer-based CAD plans and models.
