Position Description The Senior Product Engineer reports tothe Engineering Manager at the Franklin, WI facility for the Data Centervertical. She/he works within the Engineering Department to design,develop, and document Data Center Indoor Cooling products manufacturedby the Data Center team. Key Responsibilities Lead multi-functionalteams to complete engineering projects in New Product development stageand other projects focusing on providing support to compensate forsupply chain disruptions. Lead or support new technology platforms, newproduct, and new product variant program development as needed. Befamiliar with the 80/20 principals of product development and customervariants to maintain a global product line while meeting individualcustomer needs. Lead efforts to assess product performance issues,strive to root cause and lead to effective resolution. Work incollaboration with multi-functional teams such as Product Management,Engineering, Sales, Procurement, Services on New Product Development.Provide support for existing products, including trouble shooting, rootcause analysis, and implementing cost savings ideas. Identify customerproblems and create functional prototypes offering a solution. Work withsuppliers to identify alternate solutions for engineered components.Execute assigned engineering launch activities for awarded business.This includes: completion of customer submittals with all requireddocumentation, release of design and drawings for the product forprototype and production, successful completion of all customer andregulatory required testing for customer acceptance in the field.Conduct the preliminary design for cost estimating...
