Description Technical / Deskside Support IV u2013 Contractor (Onsite, Austin, TX) Service Type: Temporary Contract (52 Weeks) Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday, 8:00 a.m.u20135:00 p.m. CST Location: Onsite in Austin, TX (5 days per week) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical / Deskside Support IV professional to provide highu2011level deskside and endu2011user support in a dynamic, highly interactive office environment. The successful candidate will support a wide range of technologies including laptops, desktops, Apple devices, mobile devices, printers, Office 365 applications, collaboration tools, and approved thirdu2011party software. This role requires a polished communicator with strong customer service skills, the ability to work independently as the sole onsite technician, and the flexibility to integrate smoothly into a collaborative, friendly office culture. You will initially be paired with a seasoned technician for training. Key Responsibilities + Install, maintain, service, and repair deskside computer systems, peripherals, and legacy hardware/software. + Provide onsite troubleshooting for PCs, Macs, mobile devices, printers, and approved software applications. + Support endu2011user tickets originating from calls, walku2011ups, and escalations from the helpdesk and ticketing system. + Install and maintain PCs, servers, networks, peripherals, and associated software. + Support enterprise hardware including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and telecommunications systems. + Perform IMAC activities (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes). + Test and certify PCs, networks, servers, and client-approved applications. + Provide preventative maintenance guidance to end users. + Maintain understanding of internal service solutions and follow clientu2011specific procedures. + Support Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, WebEx, MS Teams Rooms, and various thirdu2011party tools. + Assist with basic network troubleshooting and Audio/Visual issues in meeting rooms. + Provide professional, customer-focused communication and follow-up. + May lead or direct others; may support small project initiatives. Requirements Required Experience & Technical Skills + Expertise in Windows 10 and Windows 11. + Strong experience supporting Dell laptops and hardware. + Proficiency with Mac OS and Apple devices (heavy Mac environment). + Strong troubleshooting skills for software, hardware, and peripherals. + Experience supporting: + Office 365 Suite + SharePoint & OneDrive + WebEx + iPhones, tablets, printers + Proficiency navigating InTune and Jamf (MDM tools). + Ability to navigate and understand Azure logs. + Basic to intermediate network troubleshooting skills. + Ability to support MS Teams Rooms and resolve Audio/Visual issues. + Knowledge of Microsoft/Linux/Unix operating systems. + Understanding of network protocols, internetworking, and server/storage systems. + Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. + Strong analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. + Detailu2011oriented with a high degree of professionalism. u2022Preferred Certifications (Not Required) + Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCDST, MCSE) + CompTIA (A+, Network+, etc.) + OEM certifications: HP, Dell, Toshiba, IBM + Additional vendor certifications such as EMC, Cisco Work Environment + Fastu2011paced, highu2011volume environment (100u2013200 tickets/day shared across ~40 team members). + Highly collaborative, friendly office cultureu2014requires strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing, professional demeanor.
