Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper for a family office in Century City. This role involves managing financial transactions and assisting with routine bookkeeping tasks for a single-family office. Ideal candidates should be comfortable with basic accounting processes and have a commitment to accuracy and organization. This position will be 3-4 months and will be 30-35 hours per week. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. u2022 Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records. u2022 Assist with bill payments and expense tracking using QuickBooks and other tools. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date records of American Express transactions. u2022 Support the transition to Netsuite, collaborating with the implementation team as needed. u2022 Handle routine bookkeeping tasks to ensure timely and efficient financial management. u2022 Address catch-up work for financial records and ensure compliance with company standards. u2022 Provide accurate reporting and documentation for monthly financial activities. u2022 Work closely with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and project goals. This will be a fully onsite position in Century City. Hours are flexible, but will be 30-35 hours per week. Pay is based on experience, between $28-32/hr. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a similar role. u2022 Proficiency with QuickBooks and familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, time-consuming tasks. u2022 Experience with bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records. u2022 Ability to adapt to new systems, such as Netsuite, with training provided. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills. u2022 Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
