We are Seeking a PRN Diagnostic Radiographer (X-ray) Tech for our Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania - Cedar location at 501 S. 54th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19143 Schedule includes all shifts, weekends and holidays Summary: The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging for our HUP Cedar location. Responsibilities: _u00b7Patient Care Provider_ u00b7Greets patients building a good report to gain trust and confidence. u00b7Verifies all information necessary to perform procedures consistent with section protocols. u00b7Monitors patients for their safety and well-being throughout the procedures while responding to any need or concern while in their care. u00b7Thoroughly completes all pre and post exam duties including but not limited to patient preparation, reviewing exam orders, and making changes or edits as needed u00b7 _Radiology Equipment Operator_ u00b7Operates radiology equipment using proper techniques to produce high quality images. u00b7Maintains equipment and troubleshoots service issues. u00b7Practices radiation safety guidelines at all times. _u00b7Coordinator_ u00b7Takes initiative to resolve issues/concerns from patients, family, physicians, UPHS personal, and co-workers. u00b7Answer phone calls using appropriate greeting and information. u00b7Ensures proper work flow is being achieved at all times. _Operations_ u00b7Express compassion and hospitality. u00b7Demonstrates passion for quality and service. u00b7Effectively works with other UPHS personnel to achieve best results. u00b7Manages resources to consistently improve quality care and great value. u00b7Continuously learns and improves performance. _Core Values_ u00b7Treats people respectfully. u00b7Adheres to established policies and procedures. u00b7Maintains confidentiality. u00b7Effectively communicates and ensures understanding of UPHS mission and values Minimum Requirements: + ARRT Required + Graduate from an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
