As a Senior Technology Engineer within PNC's C&IB organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. As a Senior Technology Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and governing enterprise-level Digital Identity development initiatives within an Agile development environment. This position involves designing and supporting Java-based applications utilizing Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs, while ensuring alignment with modern security standards and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: u00b7 Contribute to software development efforts across project lifecycles, including new development and maintenance of existing applications u00b7 Collaborate with solution architects to design physical architectures and propose software solutions that address complex business challenges u00b7 Partner with Agile project teams to assess feasibility of requirements and provide technical guidance u00b7 Analyze implementation impacts and associated risks to ensure robust and scalable solutions u00b7 Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and procedural documentation u00b7 Review code, testing artifacts, and documentation produced by peers to ensure quality and consistency u00b7 Support deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments u00b7 Apply modern engineering principles, methodologies, and tools to enhance business capabilities u00b7 Provide governance and oversight of solution design across development and engineering teams u00b7 Continuously evaluate industry best practices and contribute to internal standards and frameworks u00b7 Lead and influence adherence to technical design and development standards across teams Technical Skills: Backend Development: u00b7 Java, C#, WebAPI, Microservices architecture Frontend Development: u00b7 Angular, React JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS Databases: u00b7 SQL, Oracle, MongoDB DevOps & CI/CD: u00b7 Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines Preferred Experience: u00b7 Proven experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Core Java u00b7 Expertise in building and maintaining Spring Boot microservices u00b7 Familiarity with Java testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) u00b7 Proficient in source control tools such as Git u00b7 Experience with Apigee API management u00b7 Knowledge of JWT tokens and OAuth authentication strategies u00b7 Skilled in designing RESTful APIs and web services u00b7 Experience implementing authentication and authorization services u00b7 Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines u00b7 Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead software developers in adopting best practices PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance.
