Reference #: 2969Are we the road to your future?We are currently searching for an experienced Survey Manager to support our Mid-Atlantic Region located in Springfield, VA, Charleston, WV, or Pittsburgh, PA.To be considered for this position, applicants musthave, at minimum, a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (Registered in Pennsylvania, Virginia or West Virginia).This position provides supervision and direction of survey technical staff in conducting land surveys and preparing survey deliverables and documents. Responsible for the success of projects including quality, budget, and schedule for each project.What you'll be doing:Help build and support new and existing client relationshipsHire, mentor and train technical staff, including professional land surveyors, survey field crews and techniciansMember of a survey team working within a group to meet schedules, client requests (internally and externally) and production expectationsCoordinating and managing outside survey subcontractorsImplementing QA/QC practices for final survey deliverablesDeveloping fees and writing and reviewing proposalsEnsure compliance with company safety regulationsCommunicate regularly with team members and operation managers to keep project on schedule and meet client expectationsWhat you need to have:Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (Registered in Pennsylvania, Virginia or West Virginia)5+ years of Project Management experience with the ability to grow and lead a Survey departmentDesire and ability to obtain licensure in additional statesStrong verbal and written communication skillsJudgment and decision-making skillsComplex problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated with strong organizational skillsTechnical skills, including AutoCad and/or MicroSation, Trimble equipment and software, laser scanning and drones a plusValid driver's license and safe driving recordSafety orientedAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
