Restaurant Equipment & Facilities TechnicianHeartland Restaurant Group Dunkin'Heartland Restaurant Group, one of the largest Dunkin' franchisees in the United States, operates nearly 80 locations across the Greater Tri-State Region. We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Equipment & Facilities Technician with strong hot equipment repair to join our fast-paced and growing team.This role plays a critical part in maintaining restaurant operations by performing equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility upkeep across multiple locations.u00a0Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Troubleshooting, Repair & Maintenance- Diagnose and repair restaurant equipment, including:- Medium-temperature refrigeration systems- Turbochef and Adamatic/Belshaw multi-deck ovens- Walk-in coolers and freezers- Reach-in coolers- Electrical and mechanical equipment issues- Plumbing and electrical systems- Proactively identify maintenance risks and potential equipment failures- Manage work orders and equipment taggingEquipment Replacement & Installation- Replace and install:- Walk-in coolers and freezers- Reach-in coolers- Thermostats and remote equipment controllersFacility Maintenance & Repairs- Perform minor facility repairs, including:- Plumbing leaks (hand sinks, drain lines)- Electrical repairs (switches, outlets, conduit)- Floor tile replacement or reattachment- Sheetrock repair, taping, floating, and paintingDocumentation & Communication- Complete and prioritize work orders promptly- Communicate job status and completion with the Manager on Duty before leaving each site- Report major repairs to the District Manager and Director of Operations- Maintain an accurate inventory of tools and supplies- Order materials and submit weekly expenses- Provide daily and weekly repair and expense reports to the CFO- Maintain accurate warranty, repair, and service records- Provide site visit reports following all service callsQualifications & Requirements- Education:u00a0High school diploma or GED preferred- Experience:- Minimum 2 years of oven or hot equipment repair experience- Certifications (Preferred):- Schedule:- Flexible availability required, including evenings, weekends, and rotating on-call duty- Additional Requirements:- Must pass background check and random drug screenings- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (subject to MVR checks)- Company vehicle (if provided) must be maintained per company standardsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in high-pressure situations- Basic computer proficiency; experience withu00a0Building Enginesu00a0preferred- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills- Excellent time management, route planning, and organizational abilitiesPhysical & Working Conditions- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently- Comfortable working in:- Extreme temperatures (freezing to 100+ degrees)- Confined spaces, narrow aisles, and passageways- Ability to climb ladders and access roofs and ceilings- Ability to safely operate a vehicle and recognize hazardsu00a0
