JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary The Key Account Manager - Broadband isresponsible for growing sales of traditional HellermannTyton productsand for identifying and developing new products to meet the cablemanagement application requirements of the broadband market on anational level. They will work with assigned accounts, ranging fromDistribution Partners to End Users, to achieve order volume andprofitability objectives for all HellermannTyton products. He or shewill create product demand through sales calls, develop marketingcollateral with the help of internal resources, participate in tradeshows, and implement a pricing strategy, among other efforts. End-Userinfluence will be a critical specification in the purchase of theseproducts. These End User Contacts include but are not limited to:Specifying Engineers; Installation Contractors; Federal agency andFederal contractor contacts, Tier I, II, III Service Providers,Architects; Network Engineers; Data Center Managers; Facilities andFacility Management. Essential Functions: Cover the entire nationthrough in-person and virtual interaction with channel partners, repfirms, ISP engineers, specifiers, and technicians. Drive or fly to thecustomer/specifier location. Develop product knowledge and do allessential travel, Telephone & Internet contact and follow-up to drivesales and secure specifications to make HellermannTyton the product ofchoice. Maintain records in CRM and other software platforms when and asdirected. Report to the Director of Strategic Sales Electrical onactivity and progress. Success in this role will require Foster a teamatmosphere around HellermannTyton's Broadband business High-levelaptitude for engaging people at all different levels within a customerand our organization. Ability to both create and execute strategic plansfor our customers and internal teams. Must be effective at both directlydeveloping and closing sales opportunities.
