Field Surveyor Technician

We're looking for a Field Surveyor Technician tojoin our growing transportation team - someone who enjoys workingoutdoors, collaborating with great people, and seeing the direct resultsof their work in the field. This position can be based out of ourMilwaukee or Madison, Wisconsin office, with travel to project sitesthroughout the region. What You'll Do Assist with field and officesurveying tasks Operate and support the use of surveying equipmentincluding robotic total stations, GPS units, and data collectors Supportconstruction staking, topographic, and boundary surveys Download,organize, and manage field data, notes, and drawings Maintain surveyvehicles, equipment, and tools to ensure readiness and safety Followestablished safety procedures and work effectively in outdoorenvironments Communicate clearly with team members, clients, and fieldrepresentatives Perform other duties as assigned in support of projectteams What You'll Bring Required Associate degree in Land Surveying,Civil Engineering, or a related field OR a minimum of 2 years of relatedfield experience Valid driver's license and ability to travel toproject sites Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsand terrain Preferred Basic knowledge of surveying tools, equipment, andfield procedures Familiarity with fundamental math and surveyingcalculations Exposure to AutoCAD, MicroStation, or survey dataprocessing software (a plus, not required) Strong communication andteamwork skills Attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability tofollow direction and safety protocols Dependable, organized, andproactive in the field Why Mead & Hunt?
