Tool Mold Maker

JOB REQUIREMENTS: What You Will Do: The Toolmaker/Moldmaker isresponsible for working with the lead mold maker to build new toolingper CAD or detailed prints, evaluate, maintain, and repair existingmolds and production tooling. Must be able to build new tooling andcomponents with minimum supervision Identify and communicate anypossible tooling problems to the lead mold maker or supervisor Must beable to work well with lead mold makers and train mold maintenancetechnicians and apprentices Must be able to operate all tool roomequipment Must be able to perform mold maintenance and in-press moldchanges Must be willing to work overtime based on production needs OtherFunctions Work with QA to identify quality concerns Maintain a clean andsafe work area Performs other tasks as assigned Required PersonalProtective Equipment: safety shoes are to be worn at all times duringyour scheduled work hours. What You Bring(Qualifications): 3+ years ofplastic injection molding building experience or successful completionof an apprenticeship program. Journeyman Tool & Die Makercertification/degree is preferred. High School diploma or equivalentrequired Knowledgeable in current mold-building techniques. Thisindividual should have solid manufacturing concepts in plastic injectionmold building Ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineeringdesigns and computer-based CAD plans and models.
