10000BR Position Title: Director, Center for Campus Life Organization: Center for Campus Life Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be a relationship-driven leader who brings both vision and operational strength to campus life work. They will be energized by complexity, committed to student development, and skilled at partnering across diverse stakeholders to build experiences that matter. This is a role for someone who enjoys mentoring staff, listening to students, and translating big ideas into sustainable programs. + Provide direct supervision and leadership to the Center for Campus Life leadership team, supporting program development, staff success, budgeting, and operational effectiveness. + Establish and communicate a clear vision for the Center, including short- and long-term goals, success metrics, and continuous improvement strategies. + Oversee a complex operating and revenue budget exceeding $4 million, ensuring strong fiscal stewardship and alignment with university and divisional controls. + Develop and implement programs, services, and experiences that enhance student engagement, retention, persistence, and graduation outcomes. + Design and Launch new initiatives that engage faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners in enriching campus life at RIT. + Collaborate across Student Affairs and the broader university to deliver cohesive, student-centered programs aligned with RITu2019s mission. + Engage directly with students to address complex concerns, provide guidance, and ensure appropriate support and follow-up + Communicate the impact of Campus Life through compelling reports, presentations, and service on divisional and university committees. + Serve as an administrative advisor to RIT Student Government, supporting student leadership development and shared governance.
