10000BR Position Title: Director, Center for Campus Life Organization: Center for Campus Life Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be a relationship-driven leader who brings both vision and operational strength to campus life work. This is a role for someone who enjoys mentoring staff, listening to students, and translating big ideas into sustainable programs. + Provide direct supervision and leadership to the Center for Campus Life leadership team, supporting program development, staff success, budgeting, and operational effectiveness. + Establish and communicate a clear vision for the Center, including short- and long-term goals, success metrics, and continuous improvement strategies. + Oversee a complex operating and revenue budget exceeding $4 million, ensuring strong fiscal stewardship and alignment with university and divisional controls. + Develop and implement programs, services, and experiences that enhance student engagement, retention, persistence, and graduation outcomes. + Design and Launch new initiatives that engage faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners in enriching campus life at RIT. + Collaborate across Student Affairs and the broader university to deliver cohesive, student-centered programs aligned with RITu2019s mission. + Engage directly with students to address complex concerns, provide guidance, and ensure appropriate support and follow-up + Communicate the impact of Campus Life through compelling reports, presentations, and service on divisional and university committees. + Serve as an administrative advisor to RIT Student Government, supporting student leadership development and shared governance.
