Job Number: R0228635Military Aircraft Facilities Engineering AnalystThe Opportunity:As a facilities analyst, you understand that relationship-building and keen attention to detail is crucial when overseeing the lifecycle of a project. As an experienced facilities professional at Booz Allen, you will use your client engagement skills to impact projects that will modernize military air bases. We need someone like you who is eager to work on complex projects that will enable global fielding of 5th generation fighter aircraft.On our team, you'll manage challenging projects for sensitive missions while collaborating with senior leadership. Using computer-related facilities management software and your problem-solving skills, you'll develop creative solutions on mission-critical projects in this role, you'll closely impact the defense capabilities of our customer by defining and overseeing implementation of facility requirements. With mentoring, exposure to challenging projects, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.Work with us as we facilitate projects that impact defense for the better.What You'll Work On:Analyze, formulate, and recommend airfield facility standards, design and space criteria, and optimal space utilization requirements using forecasts for clients in defense.Lead analyses and solution development for airfield facility planning and management for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and allies.Perform complex activities related to the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization.Prepare or review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility.Advise U.S. DoD and allied customers in developing airfield plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio, facility, or individual space requirements.Recommend airfield facility and infrastructure planning, design, and construction standards or milestones.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have:5+ years of experience managing and monitoring military facility architecture and engineering projects3+ years of experience with aircraft operational facilities and flightline infrastructureExperience in analyzing, reviewing, and generating clear and concise technical documentation and briefingsKnowledge of DoD civil engineering policies, practices, and facilities and infrastructure proceduresKnowledge of program management, planning, budgeting, and financial control principlesKnowledge of standard contracting regulations, practices, and proceduresKnowledge of facilities operations and maintenanceAbility to travel to CONUS or OCONUS locations up to 50% of the timeSecret clearanceBachelor's degreeNice If You Have:Experience with F-35 or 5th-generation fighter aircraft operational facilitiesExperience working in a flexible environment and interacting with multiple stakeholders for project successExperience working with Microsoft Office suitePossession of excellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Urban PlanningProfessional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is pensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.
