Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The list ofduties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded toinclude other duties and responsibilities, as management may deemnecessary from time to time. Provides direction to team membersincluding but not limited to: Proper line set-up Paperwork verificationJob responsibilities Work area cleanliness Safe job performance Qualityof production Provides direction to idle employees during downtimeCompletes and/or audits paperwork submitted by employees Callsmaintenance and warehouse for appropriate equipment or supply issuesLeads the department by example Provides supervisor with creative ideasto solve existing and potential opportunities for improvement (safety,quality, and productivity) Accepts responsibility for delegated tasksassigned by Supervisor Operates machines proficiently and is willing andable to learn additional machinery as needed Participates in at leastone continuous improvement team for their line per year Uses fundamentallevels of email and computer entry software. Ability to learn basics ofthe SAP system. Coordinates smooth shift transitions Accurate inventorycontrol of all packaging materials and finished goods pallets AssistsSupervisor to drive and test process improvements Coordinates projectssuch as sorting and rework Inspects all machinery after sanitation toensure they are clean and assembled completely and correctly Completesdaily productivity reporting Provides breaks to employees on the lineOperates hand jack (after certification) Follows all safety protocolsParticipates in the Safety Committee All other duties as assignedEducation and/or...
