The hourly ratefor this position is $22.00 with paid company holidays. Job Summary Students will be provided with an opportunity todevelop skills in engineering fundamentals related to the gas industryand overall project management. This position will enable the student tobuild a working knowledge of natural gas transmission and distributionengineering with exposure to a variety of gas facilities, constructionprojects, system maintenance, and asset management systems. JobResponsibilities Support survey management software, hardware, andcompliance monitoring tools. Support GIS models of gas distributionsystems. Review and analyze gas asset information in various datasystems (services, mains, valves, stations) and perform requiredupdates. Participate in training opportunities to learn about thenatural gas industry, construction standards, work procedures, andassociated materials. Perform site visits to observe utilityconstruction, maintenance, and customer service functions. Design andgenerate reports for engineering, regulatory, and operational requests.Produce system training materials (manuals, reference guides,presentations) for end-users.
