We are looking for a sincere and compassionate individual who lives out our mission of serving with heart and purpose.u00a0 The ideal candidate will bring a heart for ministry and a passion for building relationships within a senior care setting.u00a0 You'll you be a comforting presence during times of transition, a listening ear during times of need, and a source of joy and hope in everyday moments.u00a0 Position Type: Part-Time Location:u00a03534 University Drive S, Fargo, ND, 58104 Chaplain responsibilities: + Provide spiritual care to care for residents, families and employees. + Visit residents on an individual basis and determine type of involvement appropriate for meeting their spiritual and emotional needs. + Document and maintain accurate records of visits with residents using basic computer programs. + Research and prepare materials to conduct Bible study, resident devotions, and worship. + Perform other duties as assigned. Chaplain qualifications: + Bacheloru2019s Degree or Equivalent experience required. + Must be credentialed in the Evangelical Free Church or willing to become credentialed. + Prior experience in counseling or pastoral care. + Active in a local church and growing in spiritual life. + Must maintain confidential information. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills. + Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations. + Other activities include frequent kneeling, crouching, and stooping to communicate and pray with residents.
