What to ExpectThe GFNY team is looking for a skilled Procurement Specialist to execute Tesla's infrastructure development sourcing strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction suppliers, subcontractors, manufacturers, and contractors, with a strong background in negotiation, strategic sourcing, and procurement. This role demands the ability to develop and implement cost-effective sourcing strategies for industrial, manufacturing, distribution, and mission-critical construction projects. The successful candidate will excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing strategic planning with hands-on operational execution.What You'll Do Actively lower costs by sourcing and onboardingadditionalvendors into the procurement system, negotiating pricing agreements, and working directly with vendors to reduce expenses Collaborate with Infrastructure and Workplace Teams to assess purchase order (PO) needs, draft POs, track deliveries, and resolveinvoicesor supplier issues efficiently Manage facilities and construction spares andcommodities ofstock, ensuringoptimalinventory levels and cost efficiency Lead sourcing efforts for electrical, mechanical, janitorial, and construction commodities, including facilities and construction services, whilemaintainingsupplier relationships Conduct market research and spend analysis to develop informed sourcing strategies, pre-qualify suppliers, and negotiate cost reduction opportunities Implement global/regional agreements toconsolidatesuppliers, analyze historical and projected spend, andoptimizecontracts for cost-effective pricing Drive cost-saving initiatives through benchmarking, competitive quoting, and
